Getting Into Wedding Shape!

I've decided that now is as good a time as any to really get into good wedding shape!
Maybe I'm even a little late in my wedding planning to jump on the wedding body band wagon... But that's ok! Better late than never I think!!

So, what am I doing to acheive a better wedding body?

1. My good friend and bridesmaid, Miss K, as we'll call her...
(not to be confused with The Sister, also a K name....)
has lent me her treadmill! Yay!
She didn't have room in her house for it, knew I needed one and generously donated to the cause! At least until she gets a bigger house...
Just so you know, that's exactly how I look when I exercise...
Hair down, big smiles, and of course cute exercise outfit! :) In my dreams, right?!
Anyway...
I've been running on the treadmill every evening...
Varying distances, but consistent every other day. So far so good.

2. My new blog friend, Monica of Monica Wants It posted a FREE online calorie counter.
I'm all about the free, and knew I could friend Monica once I joined...
So I did. Yesterday.

If you decide to join, feel free to Friend me! We can go it together!
My username is Kassarie. One of my amazing bridesmaids, Mrs Meg, has also joined!
So yay for team work and encouragement!!!

FYI - Meg needs to blog! She has amazing crafting/cooking/etc ideas that SHOULD be shared with the world!!!

So that's what I've got so far! Anyone have any tips on getting into wedding shape?
How did you get in shape/lose weight for your wedding??

My main goal is to get in shape! Losing extra weight is an added bonus!

I'm also trying to loose weight and get in shape, not just for the wedding but hopefully it will stick long after the wedding. I've been doing well at loosing weight and exercising too. I'm learning to eat the foods I love in moderation or not at all. Some foods like chocolate and Chick Fil A are hard for me to have a bite.. I just want more! :)

Thanks for sharing that neat site! I'll check it out!

Go you! You'll be smokin hot on your wedding day! There's something that can help your metabolism--it'll make you slim and sassy. ask brianne. she'll know what i'm talking about.

I think until you move we should take like a a day or two a week (even if it is weekends) and go for alike a hike or jog.. That might be good moto for both of us...

I'm also joining the better-late-than-never work-out team :) My wedding is in March and today I found out that I put on 2kg (really hoping the scale is wrong). I don't have a treadmill but I'll be hitting the pavements for a brisk walks and getting to the gym when I can.

I've always been slightly chubby... never the typical skinny asian chick. LOL. I increased my workouts and as the wedding approached, exercise was my stress-release/therapy. The business of wedding planning also had me eating less unintentionally and within 3-4 months, the weight i've been trying to take off for 18 months all started to fall off. Granted, splurging on meals and the love chub with the Husband in our ten months of marriage has left us both with some weight gain, so while i'm still exercising - i'm trying new things (couch 2 5k is one new program) and we just started Weight Watchers together. An easy way to measure what we eat and keeping accountable.

I think the main thing is making it a point to get more active... its really an essential part of a healthy lifestyle!

Good luck! :)
