Remember me telling you about how my mom's friend offered to make our cakes for our wedding gift? And how we'd met for lunch and I'd shared my cake inspiration with her? After our wedding ceremony, the wedding party walked back up the aisle following Mr. and MRS. M... ;) Got in our golf carts, and zoomed back up the road to the reception site.  There we had a just a few minutes to greet guests, then it was on to more group shots! After our first look and a few random group shots, we noticed that guests were starting to arrive! That meant it was ALMOST time! ;)  The aisle. I made the poms following Martha Stewart's tutorial here. Larger poms where also hung from the cieling of the reception room. I mentioned before that the golf carts owned by the golf course played an important role in our wedding day.

On Tuesday we marched ourselves into the county courthouse... Up three flights of stairs to the Clerk's Office and bought ourselves a wedding license. We are now the proud carriers of a license to wed in the state of Arizona! *** Mr. M was nervous because all he had with him was his driver's license. I am SO excited!!! We marked a huge item off the to-do list as of today! Flower girl dresses!!  Flower Girl Apparel We have FOUR flower girls! (And FOUR ring bearers actually...) For our reception, we're going the all about us route!  Plan your reception menu -- decide on a caterer and hash out a rough price per head. The Knot.com Mr. M and I both love us some tacos. And steak. But steak is EXPENSIVE. So Taco Bar it is! We're doing sort of a Mexican food buffet with the focus being a taco bar. Build it yourself style I think... We won't have a specific caterer...
